The Stepford Wives - 1975 - Something about being replaced by a perfect Disney- animated doll was really horrific when I read the book...seeing the movie was an anticlimax |

Ju-On - The Grudge (2003). The Japanese original. My hair stood on end during one scene, like an electric shock was going up my spine. The American remake with the Geller girl was directed by the original director and filmed at the same house in Japan, so they all get credit for trying. But for pure weirdness and chills, you can't beat the source. |
