this crap happens to me constantly! my ad clearly states that i am a big girl, bigger than my picture, but men are so visual they just don't get it. they see what they see, they want what they see. if they have an "upward limit" on size, i won't meet them...but it's much more because of a lacking in their character, than because i just don't want to get my feelings hurt. needless to say, i don't get many dates. i am looking for someone who TRULY does not judge a person on their appearance, and it's damn near impossible to find. kudos to you justagirl, you are my kinda person!!!

In the entire time I was looking on here only once did someone stop talking to me about my size. We had been talking for a few days and I kept asking him have you looked at my profile and he kept saying he would, when he finally got around to it he pretty much told me that I wasn't his type......PRICK!!....lol. He was actually booted off of here because he was an idiot. You are always going to meet a couple of asses where ever you go, but I have to say for the most part all the guys I have met on here incuding my guy are pretty good. |

ssshortcake, I agree. I have met a lot of great people on here in the 6 or so years I've been on here. This was the first for me too. |

It's been awhile... As for me, size is not much of importance as her overall shape. I like some skinny women, and I like some SSBBWS and everything in between. I always notice the body first, and then go from there, that's just normal guy behavior, mating instinct. To me, it's not so much size as it is the curves, and I tend to have a thing for BBW's because of the ample amounts of curves. To me, curves radiate femininity. There's just something about a gal with a lot to love that draws me in, weather it's what she feels like when were goin' at it passionatley, or her visual aesthetic, I don't know. When I see a woman and I don't know her yet, that's usually the first thing that hits my mind is her beauty, what she looks like under the light, what she'd feel like with her body pressed up to mine. That usually motivates me enough to figure out if she's someone I'd like to spend more time with or not. However, being as this thread is more about size and looks than personality, I'll refrain from that part here. When you really take away the personal preference part of things, you end up left with just an endless sea of differing opinions. We all seek something different in a mate, so just because one person does not think you're hot does not mean another does'nt. |

Candy,That guy was a real jerk.. He's probably an ass where ever he is or goes...... A big loser in my book...I think your very Beautiful Well as my ad states, I'm married and not here looking for a hook up with a man...or anything like that. I came across the site years ago, started in chat and made a lot of great friends...so I still stop in and cut up in chat. Well I had this guy who was really into me, liked my pic and all that. We talked a few times, he was a great guy. Very handsome as well. He viewed my profile several times a week and had me on his friends list. Well we chatted one day for maybe a few hours, talked about all kinds of things....had a great conversation. The topic came up about my size. Why should my size matter??Does it really matter if we're just being online friends...for that matter, does it even make a difference what I look like, period?? To be friends with someone and just talk to them...do you have to be a supermodel? I didn't think so, and even in real life I'm not a shallow person like that. Well I told him I was on the heavier side...he asked if he could see. I jokingly asked, "why so you can decide if you're going to continue talking to me?" He assured me he wasn't like that. Well this was over a week ago and I haven't heard a peep from him, he hasn't looked once at my profile...and I've been demoted quite a bit on his friends list....hmmm, kinda threw me for a loop. Makes me laugh a bit as well that people are really like that. Maybe I'm a bit naive I dunno. To me, it's what's on the inside that matters...it's a shame that some people miss out on some very good frienships just because they are too shallow to deal. C'mon now! I wasn't trying to marry him or even go on a date with him, just having some every-day conversations! Anyone else have any experiences like this...I'd like to hear about it
